1. Start by getting into your car.

2. Navigate to Navigation Maps.

3. Press the Options button.

4. Proceed to Settings.

5. Select Position & Version History > Version Information.

Beneath the map version, your firmware version will be displayed, for example, NBTevo_P183621. The initial letter of your software version determines the coding method: - If it starts with P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X, or Y, utilize cable coding. - For versions beginning with any letter preceding P (in alphabetical order), USB and Cable coding as well is applicable.
