The BMW iDrive system is a powerful and versatile infotainment system that offers a wide range of features and options. However, there are some hidden menus that are not accessible to the average user. These hidden menus can provide you with more information about your car and its systems, and they can also allow you to customise some of the settings.
Instructions
There are two different ways to access the hidden menu, depending on whether your BMW has a navigation system or not.
Professional Navigation
- Call up the Start (main) menu.
- Push the controller in the up direction for at least 10 seconds.
- Rotate the controller three notches to the right.
- Rotate the controller three notches to the left.
- Rotate the controller one notch to the right.
- Rotate the controller one notch to the left.
- Rotate the controller one notch to the right.
- Press the controller once.
The Service menu will now be added as the last submenu to "Settings."
Without Navigation or With Business Navigation
- Call up the Start (main) menu.
- Push the controller to the left for at least 10 seconds.
- Rotate the controller three notches to the right.
- Rotate the controller three notches to the left.
- Rotate the controller one notch to the right.
- Rotate the controller one notch to the left.
- Rotate the controller one notch to the right.
- Press the controller once.
The Service menu will now be added as the last submenu to "Settings."
